Summer Sun is my very first amigurumi design, created with love to be beginner‑friendly yet still enjoyable for experienced makers who like playful projects. The step‑by‑step instructions guide you through the process clearly, making it easy to follow along and bring this cheerful character to life.
 
The finished amigurumi measures approximately 25 cm in height when made with 8‑ply acrylic yarn and a 3.5 mm crochet hook. You are welcome to use any yarn with a suitable hook - just ensure you use yarns of a similar weight throughout the project. Choosing thicker yarn will make your amigurumi larger, while thinner yarn will result in a smaller size.
 
The pattern uses a bright palette of light yellow (main), orange (main), blue, brown, pink, and black. One skein of each main color is sufficient, while the accent colors require less than a skein.
