Hello! I’m Rashmi Kini Kalmady from Southern India. Crochet has been a part of my life since childhood. Though I first discovered it early on, it was in 2017 that I truly got hooked ‑ using my long commute hours to work as the perfect time to keep my hands busy with yarn. Since then, crochet has stayed with me as a constant source of joy and creativity.

Over the years, I’ve loved making amigurumis, but eventually I felt the urge to bring the ideas in my head to life through my own patterns. Sketching those ideas wasn’t easy at first, so I spent time learning to draw and exploring character design. Balancing this passion alongside my corporate job, I kept creating whenever I found a moment.

Now, I’m excited to embark on a new chapter ‑ designing my own crochet patterns and considering this passion as a full‑time path. Beyond my craft, I’m a proud mom to two cats who often steal the spotlight in my photos and videos. Traveling with my partner continues to inspire me, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives into my art. Together, these threads of creativity, family, and adventure weave into the evolving story of my handmade journey.
